Pretty beach

Starting off this week’s interesting links we have a site featuring unusual beaches, a study on the writers brain at work, awesome makeup and photography art, as well as a lesson on what big jerks animals can be.

I hope everyone out in internet land is having a great week, please take a break and enjoy these links 🙂

17 Of The Most Unusual Beaches Around The World

I’ve been back from my European holiday for a few weeks now and as I write this, the sky is peeing buckets here in Melbourne. Needless to say I miss the warm, beachy weather. If you like beautiful beaches and beautiful photography, you’ll like this link. I’d say my favourite beach mentioned is here Marieta Beach in Mexico, though Maho in St Martin’s looks truly terrifying.

This is what happens in your brain when you’re writing

Now don’t let the title fool you, there are actually a lot of photos on this link, and they are complete feats of makeup and photographic genius – no photoshop used! Models are made up to look like comic book drawings, optical illusions, and yes, Marge Simpson.

Animals Can Be Giant Jerks

Thought dolphins were sweet and adorable? Nope, they’re not. What about Otters? Sorry, they’re giant jerks too. Check out this link if you’re looking to completely destroy your idea of all things cute and cuddly.

As for what goes on in the brain when writing – I wonder if there is a difference between typing words on a keyboard or writing them down on paper with a pen or pencil? The beaches were amazing!
