It's been a while since I posted a feature video,…
Feature Video: ‘All About that Bass’, 1940’s Style!
Now a lot of people have been impressed with Meghan Trainor’s song ‘All About that Bass’, but this jazzy version by Postmodern Jukebox is truly awesome! I actually like this version better than the original and the vocals by Kate Davis really shine through.
Take a look at the video, it’s pure vintage edge and I’m sure you’ll love the music as much as I did…
By the way, for anyone wondering where my feature posts have gone, apologies; I have a little a cold at the moment, but also have a couple of half written gems on the back burner. Once my brain is back to fully-functioning, I’ll have something amazing out soon!
Hope you enjoyed today’s post. I love reading and responding to everyone’s comments, so feel free to leave a comment of your own.

I really liked this version! She’s got quite a voice and I can imagine the song being sung in a club with low lights, everyone in ’40’s garb!
Mind you, the original does have a jazzy vibe already (although with a lot more production) so this cover isn’t a huge stretch. But those vocals are so awesome, I love the way she articulates with that old school feel.
beautiful
Glad you liked Manfred 😀
