Deep & Meaningful Inspiration: Sandi Metz, Tells Your Future (it’s not as geeky as you might think).
I wanted to share this 45 minute talk from the…
It’s weekly links time and I have some pretty cool stuff to share. Click around below and you’ll discover some intriguing makeup and photography effects, what tears look like under a microscope, 43 facts about the human body, and a heart warming story about first love.
Take care everyone and I hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far 🙂
This link is a fascinating testament to what happened when Rose-Lynn Fisher decided to find out what tears looked like under a microscope. The amazing thing is, she studied 100 different tears and found and the ensuing images depict how tears differ in appearance based on emotions.
The title explains it all and there are some really awesome facts in this list. My favorite one is number 40: “Your heart mimics the music you listen to”.
The title does not do the images in this link justice. If you click through you’ll bear witness to some brilliant works of makeup and photography mastery, delivered by artists Veronica Ershova and Alexander Khokhlov. Honestly, check it out, you’ll be just as fascinated as I was.
I don’t want to say much about this article, except that if you’re an old romantic like me, you should read it. This is a great essay on retrospect and time, and how you just never know what’s in another’s heart. I recommend also reading the comments, there are some lovely stories in there also.
Hope you enjoyed today’s post. I love reading and responding to everyone’s comments, so feel free to leave a comment of your own.

Tomorrow I’m off to the national gallery to see works by the old grand Italian master painters, many photos will be coming. 🙂
