Alright, it’s that time of the week again, so let’s see want links I’ve managed to put together.

The 60 Most Powerful Photos Ever Taken That Perfectly Capture The Human Experience

This is a really impressive list of images. Not all of the photos have explanations, but I have to say, for me the most powerful image was that of a widow who was reunited with the body of her husband 60 years after his death in war.

 

What is the evolutionary or biological purpose of having periods?

I’m an avid user of Quora (if you like you can follow me here), and this answer by Suzanne Sadedin was truly fascinating. As a woman I learnt things from her reply I had no idea about – even though I thought was rather knowledgeable on the subject. Seriously, this is one awesome read!

I think most women who have read this article would be nodding along. My favourite one came under the heading of ‘communication’, with this quote:

 “I do not ‘use’ my emotions to manipulate you. They are not a weapon. I really do feel this deeply, AND I am also responsible for it. I do my best to be clear.”

Ok, I’m ending this weeks post with a whole lot of cute. Take a look at these snuggly, fluffy animals. My favourite is the baby porcupine.
